After the last few days, it is so nice to have a quiet one. Gidget seems to be doing very well. Her side is drying up nicely and she let me clean it up this morning without even acting like it was any different that her undamaged skin.
The puppies are back gaining nicely and Haymitch and Prim's eyes are open. Mostly Gidget and the puppies have been sleeping and eating today )oh, and barking her head off at everything. She's feeling better and very protective of her babies). I think they all need some rest after the way things have been for them the last few days so I have given them a lot of time alone to just sleep.
Gidget is eating well although still not as much as she was before she got sick. She's still getting enough, I think. There should be some changes in the next few days as they get their "sea legs" and begin walking and their eyes and ears open.
